We have been away for a while but need to bring everything up to date.
We have a new administrator, Caitlin Henderson, who will also be looking after our social media accounts. These will be Facebook, Instragram, Twitter and Linkedin. Welcome on board Caitlin!
Over the last few months, Bycroft Consulting Ltd have been part of a very exciting development at Barrow Hill Commercial centre in Chesterfield. The Derbyshire Rail Industry Innovation Vehicle (Towns Fund) has invested £5.9 million in an innovation centre where universities and rail companies can train/test and manufacture in bespoke surroundings. BCL were initially tasked with the removal and storage of rail components while the building was erected. Once this was completed, we returned and built two tracks leading into the building with direct fasten lindaptor fasteners holding the tracks to gauge running over 2 inspection pits and up to the training/office area. We also installed a 27m access track at the rear of the building to allow delivery of rail axles etc. Once completed the floor was concreted up to rail head.
This project was a flagship enterprise and Bycroft Consulting Ltd are proud to have been involved in this work from the very beginning to its completion.
