Recent programmed works for our client in London saw a section of track which had severe timber deterioration and a redundant turnout being removed. The section was then plain lined with new hardwood sleepers and BH rail. At the same time a heavily worn crossing nose was replaced on a nearby turnout. The work was undertaken over the Easter weekend and was completed on time ready for trains post-holiday.
