Karen Foster fastening down chair screws

The finished product!
Continuing with the large expansion works at the heritage rail museum, Bycroft Consulting Ltd has completed phase 2 of the works. This required the removal of 120ft of existing track and installing in its place a L/H switch and crossing complete with timbers. Then a connecting line was installed meeting the stable line where another right hand turnout was installed. Works were completed to the satisfaction of the client who was able to start using the line for its scheduled passenger services, as well as being able to now use the stable line as a runaround. Photos include one of the directors, Karen Foster lending a hand fastening the iron work down using the battery powered impactor, well done to her, a great example of the way BCL conducts its work where everyone chips in to ensure a quality product is offered to the client.
Another great effort from the Bycroft Consulting North East team
